The Maser was an effective, and loved weapon within the Human navy. It had a yield of 300 gigaoules per minute, though they could only keep sustained fire for thirty seconds before the guns had to cool down for another twenty seconds. The Maser was used on all warships within the Navy. Many fighters even had their own miniature version of it.
